Who writes these pages
Pages on onlineaucasino.com are written and checked by the site's editorial team. We do not put a personal byline on a page. A name on a review is only worth something if a reader can verify who that person is, and we are not going to print a photograph, a job title and a count of “casinos reviewed” that nobody can check. Until there are named people whose credentials stand up to being looked up, the attribution on every page reads what it is: checked by the editorial team, on a stated date.
If that changes, it will change in both directions at once – a name, what that person is responsible for, and how to reach them. Anything less is decoration.
What the signature at the foot of a page means
The block at the end of each page states three things: who checked the page (the editorial team), what was checked against what source, and when the page was last changed. The date is the real date of the last change to that page. It is not generated by a script on page load, and it does not move because a year turned over.
Sources
We use primary sources only: the operator's own terms, bonus pages and cashier pages, and the public registers of the regulators operators name. Where a fact cannot be traced to one of those, it does not go on the page. That rule decides a lot of small things – an empty payout-speed field instead of a guess, a missing licence number instead of a plausible one, a bonus described in the operator's own currency instead of a converted Australian figure.

Independence and how this site is paid for
Some links on this site are affiliate links: if a reader opens an account through one, the site may receive a commission from the operator. Every page carries that disclosure in its footer. Commission does not decide a rating, a verdict or a position on a list, and no operator can pay to have a criticism removed, a warning softened or a competitor moved down. Where a brand is not recommended, the reason is on its page – an unresolved regulator notice, a licence that does not resolve, a cashout cap that makes a win unpayable – and that reason is not for sale.
Corrections
If a figure here does not match what the operator publishes, write to us through contact us and say which page and which figure. We check the source, and when the source disagrees with us we change the page and move its update date. When the source has itself changed – a rewritten bonus term, a new withdrawal ceiling – we change the page and keep the old reading out of it, because a stale figure presented as current is the same defect as a wrong one.
Operators are welcome to point out an error in the same way. What we will not do is remove an accurate criticism, publish supplied marketing copy as editorial text, or add a brand to a list on request.
What this site does not publish
- invented reviewer identities, stock photographs presented as staff, or claims of experience that cannot be checked;
- counters of visitors, votes, recent wins, jackpots “paid in the last hour” or review totals;
- star ratings and “user scores” that no identifiable person gave;
- results of tests we did not run, including deposits and withdrawals we did not make;
- an Australian licence claim for any online casino, because none exists – see Australian gambling law.
Scope
This site is an information site for adults in Australia. It does not take bets, hold player funds or operate any game.
